The Board of Directors of the Laramie Rangers Baseball are pleased to announce the hiring of Rich Wilson as their new Head Coach. Rich’s experience in baseball covers over 30 years, and every aged player. Rich was the pitching coach at the University of Wyoming from 1981-1984, and coached Laramie Youth baseball teams including machine pitch to Junior Babe Ruth. While the coach of Laramie Junior Babe All Star team, his teams won two Wyoming Junior Babe Ruth State Championships, his team also finished second another year. Rich also served on the Laramie Ranger Baseball Board of Directors for two years and currently runs his family’s ranch.
Laramie Ranger President EJ McDonald commented, “We are very excited about the hiring of Rich Wilson as the head coach of Laramie Rangers baseball club. We feel Rich will be is a tremendous teacher who can lead this program into the future. Rich’s experience along with his knowledge of the game will provide a tremendous experience for Laramie’s baseball players.”
